Try it, you’ll like it! Volunteering is a great way to meet like minded people

In addition to Store Week volunteering, we are trying something new…

a private group on Facebook is now available to start connecting volunteers to store needs during NON-Store Week times.

There is not a list of assignments at this time, but getting to know one another (the other 51 weeks of the year) will be engaging and fun! Make sure to answer the screening questions when asking to join.

The Montgomery County Christmas store uses Signup Genius for our hours during December to cover the store when we open for shopping. Each year a calendar is created based on our needs and in consideration of safety guidelines.

Volunteer Policy

Since the Christmas Store does not have meaningful tasks or supervisory staff for children, we are unable to accommodate children younger than high school age as volunteers. Groups are welcome to deliver projects they have made or collected by coordinating a time with us ahead of delivery.
