What do we need?

 
 

BOOKS

We accept NEW and USED books in very good condition since they will be Christmas presents.

  • Children ~ board and read-aloud books; beginning readers, fiction or nonfiction chapter books

  •  Pre-teen and young adult ~ fiction and nonfiction  (including anime and graphic novels)

  •  Adult fiction and nonfiction ~ especially  cookbooks, carpentry/DIY, outdoor activities {hunting, camping, fishing)

  • Large Print books ~ fiction and nonfiction

  • Coffee-table books

  •  Spanish/bilingual books ~ adult and children's fiction and nonfiction

  • Christmas books! Adults and children of all ages

Sorry, but we cannot accept magazines, Readers Digests, or newspapers.

 
 

NEW GOODS

CLOTHING

  • Winter Clothing - hats, gloves, mittens, coats, Socks, undies, t-shirts, bras

ALL SIZES NEEDED

  • Newborn to adult (0-4X)

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

  • Coloring books

  • crossword puzzles

  • board games

TOYS for ages 0-11 year olds

  • Bicycle helmets for children

  • Batteries for toys that require them

GIFTS FOR TEENS

  • Any and all kinds of gifts for ages 12-18

CONSUMABLE GOODS

Soap, lotion, toothbrush/paste, toilet paper, razors/shaving cream, shampoo/conditioner, tissues

FOOD IS ESPECIALLY NEEDED

  • CANNED fruit, meat, pasta, and vegetables, special diet items (low salt, low sugar)

  • Peanut Butter

  • Box mix meals or pasta

  • Mac & Cheese

    In selecting your items for the Christmas Store, please be aware that we cannot accept summer clothing and shoes, no household items, especially furniture and appliances.

The Montgomery County Christmas Store is a 501 (c)(3) charity organization registered with the Federal and State Governments. All donations are tax deductible.  Receipts (for IRS purposes) related to goods donated are available at donation sites.
