What do we need?

BOOKS

We accept NEW and USED books in very good condition since they will be Christmas presents.

Children ~ board and read-aloud books; beginning readers, fiction or nonfiction chapter books
Pre-teen and young adult ~ fiction and nonfiction (including anime and graphic novels)
Adult fiction and nonfiction ~ especially cookbooks, carpentry/DIY, outdoor activities {hunting, camping, fishing)
Large Print books ~ fiction and nonfiction
Coffee-table books
Spanish/bilingual books ~ adult and children's fiction and nonfiction
Christmas books! Adults and children of all ages

Sorry, but we cannot accept magazines, Readers Digests, or newspapers.

Winter Clothing - hats, gloves, mittens, coats, Socks, undies, t-shirts, bras

ALL SIZES NEEDED

Newborn to adult (0-4X)

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

Batteries for toys that require them

GIFTS FOR TEENS

Any and all kinds of gifts for ages 12-18

Soap, lotion, toothbrush/paste, toilet paper, razors/shaving cream, shampoo/conditioner, tissues

FOOD IS ESPECIALLY NEEDED

CANNED fruit, meat, pasta, and vegetables, special diet items (low salt, low sugar)

In selecting your items for the Christmas Store, please be aware that we cannot accept summer clothing and shoes, no household items, especially furniture and appliances.

The Montgomery County Christmas Store is a 501 (c)(3) charity organization registered with the Federal and State Governments. All donations are tax deductible. Receipts (for IRS purposes) related to goods donated are available at donation sites.

We are grateful for your interest in providing a community outreach drive for the Montgomery County Christmas Store and in an effort to provide assistance, we’ll need the following Donation Drive Approval Application form submitted.

Prior to starting a Donation Drive of Goods or Monetary Gifts for the Christmas Store, permission must be granted by a Montgomery County Christmas Store Board member.

Approval will ensure accuracy in representing the relationship between the (proposed) requested drive, and the mission of the Montgomery County Christmas Store. See our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions here…)
